As a visual artist, I am inspired by the natural beauty of the northeast USA and seek to capture the essence of various landscapes through my abstract impressionist oil paintings. My work is characterized by my passion for atmosphere and light, and my desire to only paint what is necessary, resulting in ethereal and dreamlike creations. I believe in the power of simplicity and strive to create works that are authentic, beautiful and striking. 

In addition to my own artistic pursuits, I am also an art instructor and adhere to a "kindness" method in my teaching, as well as in my own artwork and life. This approach helps me to push through challenges and create with intention. It is my hope that this philosophy does not only enhance my own art but also inspires those I teach to create with kindness.
