BYOB & SNACKS

Come paint your fur-baby, your darling, your best friend, your pet! Don’t think you have the talent for this? Fear not – your pet will be pre-sketched on the canvas for you from photos you send to Jill.  You do the rest under her instruction. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to local animal shelters in the Lawrence County Human Society and other local shelters.

This event runs twice. Register for either Friday, September 8th, or Saturday, September 9th. 

You will be led by Jill Carletti, a PA-certified Art Educator and Artist. 

THIS EVENT WILL BE HELD AT 550 MAIN ST, VOLANT, PA.

A MINIMUM OF SIX PARTICIPANTS FOR EACH EVENING ARE REQUIRED TO BE REGISTERED BY TUESDAY MORNING PRIOR TO THE EVENTS. TIMING IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. IF THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH REGISTRANTS, THE EVENT MAY BE CANCELED AND PARTICIPANTS WILL BE REFUNDED. OTHERWISE, THIS EVENT IS NON-REFUNDABLE. 

– Pet Photo Rules & Guidelines –

• The key to making this class successful is a good, clear, up-close, well-lit photo of your pet. This is sooo important! I need to be able to see the eyes, nose, body and other features clearly. Also, please send more traditional poses, not strange angles.


• Upload a few shots of your pet to this form ,and Jill will choose the best one, and try to make the best decision on how to position your pet drawing on the canvas. If you don’t have any good, recent photos, then get to it – grab a camera or someone’s phone and take some new ones! If your photo isn’t good, your painting won’t be either.


• Send your photos AFTER you’ve registered online but please NO LATER than 24 hours prior the class. Jill needs some time to get your pet sketched onto the canvas. If you would like to register late, please check with Jill that she can squeeze you in. 


• Also….since this night requires extra time and preparation on our part, we charge more than usual paint nights. We’re confident that you’ll agree it’s worth it! 

All supplies are provided and painting is created on a 11x14 inch canvas.
